I remember this engine being used in the very rare Comanche 400. Never seen one in person.
Crankshaft in the 720 had a bit of a reputation as being a little whippy but I don’t know if that was real or just the usual hangar BS.

There used to be one around here. I remember seeing it a few times, not sure what happened to it. I spoke with the owner once, he said it was only marginally faster than the 260 Comanche, but said it would climb at almost 2000 fpm. His main complaint was how thirsty it was.
The details of my life are quite inconsequential...
