Checked on my plane to make sure my knot skills held up, turns out I’ve still got it and the plane.

And then found this beauty, I need to sell some more shirts.

Reminds me when our AME was showing off his new (to his op) Cessna 206 up in YXY, the reg was FUGQ

I laughed at the reg thinking he was responsible for the creative use of letters for humour.

He paused looked at it and I said Fug Q

He lit up with a huge smile like he never considered it before! Probably told everyone it was his idea after that.

You’d be surprised what a skilled metal basher can do. Although maybe it’s high time and not worth it anymore. Scrap for parts.

I would not untie a GA airplane in 53 knot winds .. Mind you i landed one in show low arizona once in 55 knot winds... it was spooky, but luckily pretty close to runway alignment... I sat in it for a while before opening door.... facing into the wind...
