Huh, this might be a perfect time to mention another great Canadain animation. The Big Snit.

While not really the same as those Vingnettes it was really well done and kind of illustrates the idea that life is too short to compare tax rates.

The problem with that is that the Fraser Institute uses a completely different methodology to the Tax Foundation, which over-estimates the taxes paid in Canada compared to the USA.

You can't really trust any of these think tanks. Do the math yourself...

The United States health care system is the most expensive in the world, but this report and prior editions consistently show the U.S. underperforms relative to other countries on most dimensions of performance. Among the 11 nations studied in this report—Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States—the U.S. ranks last, as it did in the 2010, 2007, 2006, and 2004 editions of Mirror, Mirror.

''Progressives'' claim to be compassionate and caring
The Ontario Gvt  just de listed ,meaning it won't cover the cost, of opiates prescribed to dying patients with unbearable pain
it only covers  doses of less than 200 mgr a day totally inadequate for pain control,
however they FULLY COVER all the costs of assisted suicide
Just an example of our excellent public funded Canadian Health Care
What a farce
You can't argue with the numbers
You sure do.
take home pay is higher in Ontario than in CA
No, it isn't.  Did you pay taxes in both last year?
you haven't even paid any health insurance yet.
Why would you pay for any health insurance?
Your employer covers it.

You have no idea what you are talking about.

What state and province did you file personal
income taxes in, last year?  If you had any
real data, as opposed to just cherry-picking
crap off the internet, you'd understand what
a crippling personal tax burden there is in
Canada.

And in return, you get shit healthcare.

I guess for someone like you, that doesn't
produce any value or earn much money, taxes
aren't a problem.

Come back when you have a proper argument, rather than just "I say so".
Chuck Ellsworth

Don't get sick in Canada.

Taking care of my wife when she had cancer dealing with Canadas fucked up so called healh care system was the most frustrating hopeless feeling I ever had in my life.

And I did thirteen African contracts in war zones so I do reconize fucked up systems..

Just one more comment I don't need any " Why don't you leave Canada then comments" .

My God, you are stupid.

I have data.  You have none.

Nothing would please me more, than for you
to live the rest of your life paying excessively
high taxes, getting shitty health care, and
crap weather.  That suits me fine.

It's not like someone like you could get a green
card anyways, so it's a moot point.  You probably
don't even have even one ATP.
