Curious where the extra 300nm came from and if it’s just creative math to get the marketing edge over the 650ER.

You couldn't pay me enough to sit in the pointy end of that thing.

Even if I was a super billionaire, I can't imagine why I would need to go non-stop for 7000 miles.
Which is why I'm not a super-billionaire, I suppose.

Apparently the average flight duration in a Global is around 2 hours. The range is just bragging points for most.

Well that's a little lackluster.

It would be like buying a Bugatti Veyron, and never leaving the city streets.

But these are problems I will never have.

Not the greatest segue, but of the ridiculous long flights I've been on: 2 I've stretched out in a hammock.  1 had a lie-flat seat.  Another was in a freighter, and I got the bunk bed.
The other 2or3 were back in coach with the commoners.

Pretty sure the Veyron's natural habitat is LA/London/Dubai/whatever gridlock. That and the owners garage.

One nice thing about the 7000 is that it has a dedicated crew rest area with a flat folding seat. It's only one spot, but at least someone can catch a few hours of snooze time.
