In an effort to educate and entertain I have created a series of videos to help our younger pilots out. ;)

This is a pretty cool aeroplane - looks like you can go almost anywhere with it.

Hmmmm
So when I pull the power off my Zenair 750 and hold the nose up, the airspeed indicator goes to zero and the VSI reads 650 fpm. You can keep it like that as long as you want - nothing happens - until you reach the ground.
650FPM = 3.3 m/s
d=v^2/2a
=3.3^2/2*9.8
=0.56m
So 650FPM is the equivalent of a fall from 0.56m - and that is ignoring the cushioning from ground effect.
Hold my beer ...........

Back-side-of-the-power-curve touchdowns are not for the faint of heart,
since even the application of full power won't really reduce the sink rate
appreciably. You are committed to touching down "right there".
Ask the guy that touched down a T-33 at YHM, 800 feet short of an 8,000
foot runway. They've scrubbed the photos from the internet and they
can try to pretend it never happened, but it did.

Not sure about your math - you're dropping at 10'/second. You're going to feel that!

Woodzi, would the 750 gear put up with it? I'm curious if it's anything like the Just Aircraft "SuperStol". They engineered a long stroke gear that would cushion a full stall 'parachute' landing, and it appears they enjoy showing it off.

Try to beat the winner here: 10 feet!

I looked carefully at his landing. The tires each have a paint mark. His landing roll was one full tire rotation. His takeoff was not as impressive at two full tire rotations.
