Shiny,

Is Vtoss on this list?  It would appear experts that write articles about aviation safety are...

I myself thought it was a dick move to post people's supposed identity, but I guess I was wrong. Anyway, here are Strega's planes. Just one half-share in a Warrior.

PS, I've never claimed to be an expert.

Is that Decathlon yours? I don't see your fabled C340 there. Ok, so you have one and a half planes (I was too lazy to check if your delaware company had any new planes), and your cherokee did used to be red before the accident. Not exactly the 5 planes you claimed to have.

When are you posting a picture of your hanger and your airplanes?

What's a ha get? I don't own any planes, so it would be difficult to post pictures of them.

That clarifies what you know about that.  Nothing.

Let's see your pilot licence, Captain Crap,
with all your ex-mil jet type ratings.

What's to be gained here?

Internet points.  I don't know what you use them for but it must be pretty awesome.

Everyone using a screen name will be embarrassed by posting anonymously.
Then they will post a picture of a letter of apology with their signature and pilot's license number.

Actually, what the hell good is knowing someone's
pilot licence number?

Can you get a credit card based on it?  A mortgage?
Or more likely a payday loan?

Most of us are aware this forum is a screen name, right?

What difference does using your real name on the Internet ever make?

Someone could sign up with what looks like a real name and if there is no usefull content, you will probably spot it sooner than me, but neither of us will be bothered to pretend we have met a new friend here. Most spam bots use a regular sounding name. Depending on content, I'm more suspicious of posts made using a regular sounding name than a screen name.

There are plenty of great posters on AvCanada that I like to interact with. I believe all the ones I have met in person, use anonymous screen names. I don't need to know who they are. Ok, at the time I needed to know who shiny was because I received flight training from him. That is an exception though.

I want decent content. I am probably much less particular about what that means.

Colonel Sanders has a pretty obvious vibe posting. We have exactly the same conversations for the most part and both of us have gone through several screen names, he is using one now.

I guess I have interacted in real life with a lot of people with nicknames. I have no problem meeting people in real life and calling them a nickname other people use.

If everyone calls a person something, I can do that too. I'm not a grandmother and unable to refer to people by anything other than their full given name.

Good point about mortgages. Do we want renters posting here?
