This is Rotec R2800, 110 hp on a home built. First one I have ever seen and I am impressed :D

They’re nifty engines but when it comes to modern radials the Rotecs walked so the Verners could run.

Case in point: Steve Wolf’s Samson Mite was originally finished with a Rotec radial and it ended up in a field after the prop drive gearbox failed. Since then it’s had a direct drive Verner that looks and sounds even better.
