I don’t remember exactly the textbook method to stop this, but then again I’m not even sure how to cause it so I assume I’m good.

I honestly don't mind incompetent pilots, if they're amusing to be around. Or arrogant pilots, if they can fly.
But pilots that are both incompetent and arrogant ... well, you know there are four bars and polyester in their future.
