Good lord what sort of planes do they think are going to use YQF that need longer than 5500 feet.

I guess it can be used as an alternate for both Calgary and Edmonton by Airlines operating jets.

Ya I guess more options is always good but this sounds like another Prince George and their pie in the sky cargo hub dream.
