Perfectly good 747 scrapped
I’d argue a windfall for Skylease.
Insurance payout. One less aircraft to worry about. More $$$.

I don't think it was 'perfectly good' anymore when that video was made. The last time that 747 was perfectly good was a split second before it went through the threshold lights.

I imagine there would have been huge twisting loads on the structure. It may have even damaged the windshields which would explain why they weren't removed.
It's possible that the insurance won't pay out depending on what the investigation reveals. If the maximum tailwind limit was exceeded I doubt a single penny will be paid out.
