From some (apparently captains's) posters comments, let's put it this way:
When it is their FO's leg, could they keep there mouth and (control issues) shut?
Someone over there once opined I had envy that I wasn't an airline pilot.
Are you nuts? I wouldn't do that type of flying for 500K a year.
Bunch of dysfunctional egomaniacs I suspect are captains.

Unfortunately they do exist.
We had a retired Captain from a flag carrier working at one company I flew for. He stole allowance money that I had gone to great lengths to obtain for my crew (he'd done shit for his crew) leaving my crew without allowances. When I confronted him about it he denied all responsibility and blamed everything on the Airline. Class act!
I've actually turned down a fleet transfer in the past because I couldn't picture myself flying with the people on the other fleet including the person mentioned previously.
You'll find most of us are just normal people trying to make a living.

I'd agree with that. My industry, finance, certainly has more than it's share of whack jobs, too. Way more than its share --

Probably aimed at a putdown for him but I read it as a compliment instead :P
Try to bypass any chain of command and see how it goes. Especially when your “decision†about something was not going to be agreed upon..

Very true. This FO needed a correction. True leadership is being able to correct someone and have them thank you for doing it.
