Interesting. If you go back to my first post here, you'll see that I posted in response to Chuck calling BPF an asshole. I was willing to give this forum the benefit of the doubt, but it seems that it has already descended into 5-year old schoolyard bullying, which is what prompted me to join. The fact that you've called me an asshole for that, and you think that kind of behaviour is just "expressing themselves in their own way", says more about you than me.

That was the idea I had in mind when I first suggested such a forum.

People with questions can ask and there are people here who can give very helpful advice.

For instance in another thread someone is discussing steep turns in a sim and goes on to explain that he / she finds people make two big mistakes when performing steep turns in a sim, poor scan and eelying on feel to much.

My question is why not do all your check rides in the Airbus sim so the candidate only has one issue to deal with?

By the way The Colonel has posted a lot of reading material that will help answer a lot of questions.

mea culpa.  I always miss the briefing.  In
fact, I got kicked out of Kindergarten for not
listening to the teacher (really) so I spent the
year by myself, riding my bicycle around the
neighborhood.  A very pleasant year, actually,

PS  Anyone tried the roast garlic receipe yet?
It's so simple, a pilot can do it, and it's amazingly
good.  Yesterday we had homemade crab cakes,
homemade cornbread, and homemade cheesecake
topped with homemade whipped cream. 

It's amazing I don't weigh 300 lbs.  Anyways, the
secret to a good cheesecake is that you have to
leave it in the fridge overnight.  Can't eat it the
day you cook it.  I've tried cheating with the freezer
but it's just not the same.

Pro Tip:  get a mixer without the hinge, that has
all-metal gears and a one horsepower motor.

When starting at ground level, would we be better off with folks posting things that they think would be helpful?  I mean with just over fifty members (which is an accomplishment, not a knock) there can't be a lot of questions, especially when it seems most of the members here are experienced guys who were too, umm, [i]honest[/i] for that other litterbox.

That is a good p O0oint Slick, Ill amend that boards rules.
