What do you think of a sort of reverse moderator forum for people to go to with questions about flying...

.....it would be a training forum but restricted to pilots who wish to share their advice about how to fly.

To give advice the posters would have to agree to only answer questions and not venture into arguing with trolls or those who just want be pricks.

In other words a forum that will self police and be professional in our posts.

I am willing to follow that rule and I am sure many other very knowledgeable posters would also.

That would help keep trolls away because they need  recognition.

That would be real good  :). The only thing is I would like see stuff about the kind of flying I do now and hope to do in the future, you know like flying Cessna's and Navajo's and King Airs. Stuff about flying those old airplanes is OK I guess but I can't relate. ??? and what the hell is a Cranso and a radio range  ???

I was thinking of self policing by posters who want to pass on advice and suggestions about flying from their own career, sort of a training advice forum for free.

These self policing posters should not need to hide behind a made up name thus by being transparent we would try and be professional and not make complete assholes of ourselves.

At the moment there is Andy and myself here who like to help others out and we are O.K. with people knowing who we are.

Maybe my idea is flawed but nothing ventured nothing gained.

I have created a Free Advice Board so pilots can ask questions. Its hard to create a sub forum with different posting rules that would only allow certain posters on it. We shall see how this one goes, I know some might not want to post on other boards but I hope a simple Q and A board with out the side show might attract some new members.

Unfortunately that didn't work out too well for you and Andy on avcanada. I'm not sure why you think you can restrain yourselves here, but it should be entertaining to watch.

[/quote]Hey bonesmoker, what's your handle on AvCanada? You gonna lift the veil and show some ID or just be a trolling little princess?

Funny how Chuck has just started a thread with completely positive overtones for the benefit of young aviators and you try to come along and turn it negative. I believe Scudrunner said, at least be entertaining and thought provoking if you are going to troll, don't just be a little cupcake. You have failed, again.

He is CID on Avcanada.

Let's not feed his need for recognition on this site.
