Anyone with experience selling block time and had dealings with insurance?
What was required? Hull and liability, did the pilot who purchased the time require their own liability coverage.

It's quite simple. You need to get the block pilot to fill in experience and last 12 months flying time and which types and submit it to your broker to be added as an additional pilot.
Typically broker would reply back with the adjusted price or checkout restriction. If you get someone experienced to buy a block from you, then there is only a nominal processing fee. If you have someone with the instructor rating, some insurance companies don't even need anything.
As far as actual hull, in motion, etc coverages, that is up to you as an owner. You need liability only.

I saw mr. Photofly last summer. His c182 is parked right beside it. Warrior2 seemed weathered but flying. It's got 4 owners on it.

I was googleing the registrations after I wrote that. There is not much on the registration site or flight tracker about them. One seems to have been parked in Springbank last owner listed in Calgary, hopefully it is still flying too.
