(CNN)A woman opened the emergency exit door and jumped out of a plane as it was taxiing down a runway in Houston, startling passengers on board.[size=16px]
The United Airlines flight had just landed in Houston from New Orleans and was headed toward its gate at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport when the incident happened Monday afternoon, said airline spokeswoman Maddie King.
"I realized when the door popped open and a woman stepped out of it," passenger Hampton Friedman told CNN. He was sitting across the aisle and posted a short video of the open door

I don't think they should report she was not charged without some details on why not.

Nice.

Isn't this the third time someone used the emergency exit this year? Maybe the disgruntled flight attendant shouldn't count.

The reality is she "exited" the aircraft" on the ground. The pic indicates it was an over wing exit.

The airline spokesWoman, says "I realized when the door popped open and a woman STEPPED out of it" passenger Hampton Friedman told CNN".

The headline is misleading.

That's not the end of the story. Those suffering auditory hallucinations are at risk of hearing voices talking to them causing them to try and exit aircraft in flight.

One of the classic warnings is claims of hearing god talking to them and that's another story.

She's a bit overdressed for flying, should be wearing crocks or flip flops.

Another one, this time a possibly homeless man on a Ryanair flight in Spain. There is a short video. He decided the wing was too high to jump off, someone eventually talked him into getting back in the plane.

I don't blame her for jumping out of a United flight

I know what you mean, riding on planes operated by United can be pretty bad.. I have never tried one but suspect a Ryanair flight, might even be worse.
