The fabric on a Champ is  held down by screws , the Citabria is not
The Citabria fabric is held down by panhead pop rivets (1/8)
Apply reinforcing tape prior to pop riveting
I have done qty 4 Citabrias in the past

I've got a bag of fabric pop rivets, for some
odd reason.  They come in handy for engine
baffling.

It's an early champion citabria. Has oleo landing gear like a champ. Fabric is held on with screws but I have read somewhere that they can be replaced with rivets.

In that case , I would advise converting to rivets
You will find that the screw holes will be oversized in some cases . Using rivets will eliminate the need to upsize some screws and they are also easier to install
Plus rivets have a lower profile on the rib
