So the fellow I swing a hammer for on the side was talking about stepping up from his Turbo Arrow. He brought up the Beech Duke, all I know is its bad rap as a hangar queen.

Found that link seems to spell out the issues, anyone have anything to ad?
Just opening up the floor for discussion..... I will say it looks pretty badass on the ramp though.

All I know is Rocket Engineering does some interesting things to them:

A fellow I know had one and said it lived up to the Rocket name, quoting something like 4,000fpm initial climb. He also said it didn't have as much range as he had wanted and could have used a little more space inside. He ended up selling it and buying a short body MU-2.
As for the stock Duke, there must be a type club that could offer opinions. If there isn't I would run like hell.
