Not sure how your news forum works Scud. The article is locked here. I couldn't copy and past a link. Probably my error.

The company is called Irkut and they are located in Irkutsk. I think it's named the MC-20.

This is trending on friendface right now and it looks nice in the "check this out ceremony" video.

My rational about having those topics locked is that they come in automatically from RSS feeds and reply's and discussions will get bumped down and lost quickly. You can click on those feed links and post back on here with ones that interest you. I kind of thought of it as a quick headline browse for users to skim through, Ill check if there is a way to keep the active topics at the top and then maybe unlock them.

Anyway

The designer plans that the MC-21 will be 10-15% more efficient than Airbus and Boeing aircraft in the same class and it will have a 15% structural weight efficiency advantage, 20% lower operating costs, and 15% lower fuel consumption than the Airbus A320[sup][13][/sup] with an initial target price of $35 million USD.[sup][20][/sup]
compelling numbers if the can hit those targets, however Western nations reluctance to order anything Russian for commercial service will be a tough nut to crack tougher than BBDs launch of the C Series.

I think it's probably fine the way it's set. I just need to figure out how to operate the current system. It's good for my brain to try to use it.

My stomach should not be the only part of my body to be at full function.
