Olivier Duchesneau, Trudeau’s deputy director of communications, confirmed that the Prime Minister and his wife had applied to bring two nannies into the country.
“Mr. Trudeau and Ms. Grégoire Trudeau submitted one successful application to the temporary foreign worker program for a caregiver"
Too cheap to hire a Canadian babysitter?!
Critics of the live-in caregiver program suggest that nannies are hired from countries like the Philippines, not because they are uniquely qualified, but because they will accept lower pay than Canadians.
In an opinion column in the Toronto Star in 2014, Trudeau criticized the Harper government for expanding the temporary foreign worker program, resulting in wage cuts and unemployment for Canadians.
Imagine if Stephen Harper had been this much of a public
hypocrite. The newspapers and public unions would have
been swearing uncontrollably and frothing at the mouth.
But since Hairdo Dolly does it, it must be ok.
The older I get, the less of this shit I understand.
Has Hairdo Dolly taken his extended family to visit
the Kardashians yet? I'm sure they'd love to star on
reality TV.
Hairdo Dolly a fan of TFW program

I am both fascinated and amused by the direct hatred toward Stephan Harper. It is very strange.
I don't like his party much more than Justin's but he seems to be subject to an unreasonable amount of blame for all sorts of things including racism.

It sure is strange. Stephen Harper could discover the
cure for cancer and Canadians everywhere would spit
on him.
He is immensely unfashionable. Perhaps he hurts
people's feelings.
I suspect that history will judge him differently than
the CBC, whom is still maintaining that he has a "hidden
conservative agenda" which involves the dastardly
plan of making government employees work, I am told.

Cured cancer? But we just spent a couple of billion dollars building new cancer treatment centers. He did that to put all those cancer specialists out of work...
