I love the triple-slotted Fowler flaps extending nearly its full chord before there is much angular change
This allows for a large increase in the wing area without increasing the drag associated with the flaps angular deflection ,ideal for takeoff.
25 degrees is the maximum takeoff flaps and initial go around settings allowing the plane to fly 20 Knots slower than with 5 degrees setting
Lots of lift with minimum drag
Not bad for early 60's  technology
