I see there is a thread over there that is claiming Keystone has finally lost their O.C.

And there is a lot of commenting about pilots who fly for companies such as Keystone, some are even suggesting you can fly for a company with their reputation and have integrity and make your own safety blanket while employed there.

Interesting reading for sure.

If they are finished where will TC get their people from?

It amazes me that companies like this and Regency operated for years as well known bad apples after multiple accidents and incidents some with loss of life. I flew for Arctic Wings out of Inuvik which was shut down by an inspector with a grudge against the owner. They never lost a plane under those owners and didn't push us pilots, they also paid well to boot.

That was my first flying gig and a real eye opener to how the industry really operated. I guess if you have the proper paper work you can get away with quiet a bit. :-\

Over the decade TC has become infected with thugs who could not make it in the commercial world as they rose to the top it set the method of regulating in stone.

Unless you are subservient to their demands which often have no resemblance to the law and regulations you will be shut down...period.

However if you are subservient and show proper fear they have zero interest in how you actually run your company.

In other words aviation in Canada is worst than most third world countries.

Anyone here who thinks my opinion is not fair are free to call Transport Canada and demand they take action against me for liable.

Remember I do not post with a made up name and Transport will have no problem finding me.

See how easy I am making it for those of you who think TC is working in your best interests.

Another interesting issue in the great NWO is an operator out of YHD firing a pilot for refusing to fly at 300/1 VFR(or in icing) -- fucking ops specs are abused by these 703 operators and TC in their wisdom issue them and never try to re-write them when they are used in a way that was never intended -- in this case it was established initially to allow someone to get back home and land if unexpected wx was encountered -- not to initiate and dispatch a flight -- this guy is going to cause the death of a first timer and possibly passengers as well but they continues to operate - it blows my mind - hopefully the word of mouth and social media will warn people to steer clear -- flipping burgers is certainly preferable to this --

Sadly it probably won't discourage anyone, there will always be pilots willing to take any job to put an hour in their log book. It never ceases to amaze me that many people will drop big bucks on becoming a pilot and not research how to land a job or who to target for employment.
