The Decathlon is indeed a very easy to land plane
I know a rich guy, really struggles with his.
Has an ATP.  He's wild in his Citation.
Is there an STC for that or was it a 337 that was accepted on import?
It was a kit and the STC sold by a company called Texas Taildragger that included a set of longer gear legs.

They are no longer in business, they went tits up about ten or fifteen years ago.

The kit cost me about ten thousand dollars around 2000 or 2001.

I did the change over myself in my hangar and it took eighty five hours of labor time.

There are still a lot of them flying in the USA.....although most of them are 150....there are a lot of 150 Aerobats if one looks for them.
