This isn’t written down anywhere, but the busier it gets the less pilots talk and the more ATC talks.
The extreme example of this is the OSH arrival NOTAM where the frustrated private pilots aren’t allowed to talk at all on the radio.
Radio school for future pilots.

Been acknowledging the squawk ident command from ATC by pushing the ident button for 25 years and nobody ever complained.David MacRay wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2024 1:24 pmDog gone it. Wrong again.
Digits are you still instructing? Maybe next winter I should go get some recurrent training.
I guess I’m going back to, “(Registration) squawking ident.”
Yesterday
Me: Afternoon Terminal Grumman GABC
ATC, sqwak ident say intentions
Me push ident button
Me five thousand five hundred to Victoria ABC
ATC Radar identified, cleared to Victoria, 5500
Me ABC
Total word count by me 18. Total time for the exchange maybe 12 seconds
Less is More

Well, we are in Canada so I suspect you are more likely to get asked to confirm rather than a CADORs.
Worst trouble I ever got from ATC was when I messed up a number in the DCA class C. “THAT’S NOT WHAT I SAID, I said…”
“Sorry, reg correction…”
I was tired, long day, I think I may have read back the usual altitude of my home field.

I was doing a IPC the other day and my check guy suddenly says "That's going on my list!" Horrified I did something wrong I asked "what list?"
"My list of things guys say on the radio that irritate the fuck out of me!" I think someone else on center referred to the TCAS as the "fish finder".
The list was long and hilarious and delivered with enthusiasm.

My favorite is when a wannabe says something on the radio, thinking they sounds cool, but the term is completely wrong.
Most common is traffic advisories: “traffic 2 o’clock 1 thousand above.”
“TALLY!”
Umm, wrong term there bud. “TALLY” is something you say when you want to kill it.
If you really want to sound cool, say “JUDY” or “VISUAL.”
Ahhhhh, I’ll get off my soapbox.

Oh I remember many things, but I also don't want to steal his material.
