Heaven forbid I have to make a hasty exit out of my work aircraft.
The manuals say I have to exit last through the aft doors. Well… if we’re on fire, or sinking, I’m not going down with the ship for these assholes grabbing their bags and killing more passengers.
Also, tragic yadda, yadda Darwin has smited many. Probably not going to be the last.

That checklist must have been pretty intense to not notice the doors opening.
As someone who in the past was frightened by the idea of hand propping. I do wonder if the person figured, if they can’t see the prop it must not be there?
