I guess a 172 towing a banner went down in Montreal. No real details yet.

Are 172's common for banner towing? I have only see tail draggers.
5 out of 2 Pilots are Dyslexic.

I have only ever seen it with a tail dragger in my super short time, maybe that was the cause?

I saw in Daytona Beach a towing banner " hot rod” 150/152 ,can' t remember if
it was the taildragger conversation or tricycle gear.

I've towed banners with a 172. Main problem was the oil temp.
45 / 47 => 95 3/4%

yes , lots of sort of M model 172's have oil temp problems without banner towing!!....
