In 1965 Gemini VII spent 14 days in space, 200 and some orbits , 9.000.000 Kms with 2 astronauts on board
in a cabin no bigger than the front of a VW Beattle with only room to seat or stand briefly for EVA
Waste management was a big problem
Remember reading that Borman and Lovell were literally sick of each others stench
The Apollo's Command Module was a little better, at 160 cubic feet at least there was some room to get away
Those were the days
