The last thing we need is scud being sued for liable on this forum.

However for anyone to sue for liable they first must be able to prove the statements made were false.

The law does not consider the truth as liable.

When I posted my legal struggle with TCCA on Avcanada for several years I provided verifiable documentation to the owner of Avcanada to ensure he was not in legal jeopardy for my statements.

There are about two years of my struggle with TCCA on Avcanada and I was able to describe the Director General Civil Aviation at that time as a moral degenerate on many occasions and invited hm to sue me for liable....he never did and it created a major problem in Ottawa for not only him but the whole system.

In the end I won my case against TCCA and the findings were they unlawfully denied me due process under law.

All the lawyers in Ottawa were unable to defend the actions against me by TCCA and in the end the DGCA resigned his position......and I would like to think my exposing how they work against us their employers helped get rid of him.

By the way I kept the Minister of Transport well informed on how TCCA was operating.

Naturally I was denied the right to work in Canada and went overseas to work which turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to my career.

Yes, if what you say is true then it isn't considered libel. However you might need to spend a lot of money on lawyers to prove that. It might be possible for scud to just "out" the poster and let the person who posted the comment defend it in court. I'm not entirely sure how it works.

I wouldn't worry about it too much folks, if someone objects to a post on here they can contact me and I will consider my next course of action.

Take a read through that for more information.

I hope to keep this forum free as possible so I hope you all will treat that privilege with respect and "self moderate". If you wouldn't say it someone in the hangar, it might not be smart to post it on here. That being said I encourage debate, so if you can't take a joke or you don't have a thick skin to deal with an opposing view point then maybe get out of the sandbox.
