Like everything else in the world a lot of the issues, such as gun control, it is a result of human beings being unable to self regulate. We are so rule driven that when there are no rules we go fucking nuts and do really stupid things. Then there is the issue of the "bad guys" not to be confused with a "bad person" - and the crazy driven persons that no amount of regulation will prevent them getting weapons that they think they need. I'm sure the "dark web" gives one any amount of information that would be needed. The worst case would be a sniper and the damage a long range shooter can do. Any high quality "hunting rifle" rifle will work for the one or 2 shots required. No barrel whip there.

The only way to have total gun control is to stop production and make any firearm illegal and to possess one is an automatic life sentence. How do you as a tax payer absorb that amount of money. The government would need to go into the gun leasing biz to allow hunters to follow their sport. This is the stuff being on the wild weed produces and I'm thinking fuzzy face could fall into this group. I though Sheer was a little creepy but Justin has him beat hands down. Gun control isn't for the protection of the citizens. That's moronic
left-wing propaganda. It's an excuse for the government to seize
more power.

You take away guns from honest people, the crazies just turn to
knives or rental trucks that they drive into crowds. The problem
is the crazies, not the honest people that pay taxes.

Timothy McVeigh killed over 300 people in OKC with fertilizer and
a rented truck. Are we going to ban fertilizer and rental trucks?

Of course not. This isn't about the safety of the citizens. This is
about a totalitarian left-wing government making excuses to seize

Half the population has a double - or single - digit IQ. Democracy
is great. Giving a vote to everyone is stupid egalitarianism. You
should have to earn a vote. Display some competence. Many
times previously I said you should get one vote for every $10,000
in taxes you paid last year.

Sure. But don't tell the rest of us that do, how our money should be

Hey, I had a brilliant idea. After Air Canada goes through bankruptcy
again to shed pension debt obligations, a pro forma renaming will be
required of the new corporation which emerges.
