Last night I dreamed I had a new corporate job, flying a Vickers Viscount.

I think day-VFR only on a turbine Beaver or Otter in the Caribbean or Gulf somewhere.

I really enjoy flying when I don't have to wear a jacket. Bonus, if it's only sandals and shorts. In the deep recesses of my hard drive I have a pic of myself flying in loose formation towing banner in a supercub, wearing nothing but shorts.

I had a dream last night, that we were helping my friend install taillights
from a 2020 Pontiac Firebird into his 2nd Gen F-Body. Really. Two problems:
there is no 2020 Firebird, and I don't think my friend owns a 2nd Gen F-Body.

My dream job would be on floats someplace where it never gets cold, and the
water never gets dark. Some tropical island tourist spot. Beaver, Otter, Caravan,
radial, turbine, all the same to me :^)

Put me down for barnstorming. I just want a Travel Air/Waco/New Standard and no way to be contacted for the summer.

My favourite sea plane job would be a Grumman Mallard, I get an Excedrin hard on just thinking about it.

You gotta stop reading those romantic Richard Bach novels!

Go hardcore on Ernie Gann :^)

I think my dream job was my job at retirement: flying Commander 1000, Cessna S2 Citation, Hawker 700, and an AStar helicopter.

Two weeks on rotary wing; two weeks on fixed wing.

From fish camps and farmers fields to FBOs and room service!

Great fun...

Gann worked in his books, Bach wrote about his vacations.

Richard Bach was married to this:

So he had an unfair advantage. I tell ya, hot women can't resist a biplane pilot!
