Well, to be fair, landing in perfect wx can be pretty tough, with no ILS.

Remember, systems knowledge and basic flying skills are so 20th century -
you don't need them any more.

It has been five+  years since the accident.  Flying, probably daily...  45 day suspension.  That’ll teach em!

Ive been in plenty of jumpseat of multiple airlines here in the US.  A small percentage like, 2-3 I’d have no issue if the automation completely crapped out.

Another funny observation: I find that 100% of my FO’s will only turn off the automation only if I have done it a prior leg.
I’m not a gods gift to aviation by any means, but I would often turn off the autopilot entirely at least once during a trip as an FO, regardless of what the captain did.

Just don't lay down in a field like a drama queen after you escape a crash otherwise you'll probably be ok to grab your carry on and walk off.

Wow, that's quite a kick in the nuts to soccer fans, where Best Actor
awards are handed out at the end of the game to each team.

You might have hurt their feelings.  Oh dear.
