Looks like they landed short and hit the berm I would say.

Huh, I wonder if it was a case of, "I saw a guy drive his quad over that berm in the snow and thought it was pretty small, I figured we could land on it."?

Was chatting with someone in the "know" and they mentioned that they where diverting for Fuel reasons at the time. It was enroute from Winnipeg to Churchill.............................

Looks like just a hard landing by a future A320 driver.

So they wanted to buy fuel in Churchill hoping it was less expensive up there?

I would imagine Churchill actually would be less expensive as they can barge it in during the summer.

Well then, if insurance replaces the plane they might be due a raise for saving the company a few bucks when they don't crash.

Fuel prices are always a year behind in the Arctic if the get their fuel by sea lift.

Were these guys north or south bound?

Not so sure the Insurance Company will pay out if they ran out of fuel.
