See Link above; Many of you may have seen this video before,
And I really need to stop reading the comments below videos but everyone is saying "Kudos" "well done" "text book" to the pilot.
However he just forgot to put the gear down in front of his friends at a fly in...

Anyone here flown a CJ-6? They look like they'd be kinda fun to tear around in.
I was looking pretty seriously at a Nanching last year. Came across this video, during that escapade.
It's a cheap (relative) war-bird esque.
It's too convoluted for my feeble mind. I think the brakes are on the yoke, and a lot of 180* difference on conventional wisdom of systems for me.

I gave some aerobatic instruction in a CJ-6 once. Mostly
what I remember is that the mixture was backwards.
A lot of bang for the buck, IMHO. But you'd better be a
pretty hands-on guy. I remember, one owner blew the
bottom jug off. Twice. Any radial engine guy will understand
why - he never pulled the prop through, they really collect
the oil at the bottom. A lot of chang owners like to wear
the flight suits but are pretty weak pilots.
I remember something about cracks in the tail. And oh
yeah, if you're a tall guy, try sitting in it before you buy.
And compressed air. Get a N2 tank with 3,000 psi, and
some metric wrenches. Parts are ridiculously cheap.
