One time I talked with DirtDr. I would have had a soft drink with him but I had to drive my daughter somewhere.

I remember when he was posting on AvCanada about going to pick up a 172 from BC before he traded up. Seems like last year. I know it was a few years ago.

There has been a bit of discussion on the other forum about how I could have done things differently.

Its all good. I'm happy with it all.

I have been second guessing how I got to that point tho.  This was, in fact, my Alternate...

The Aspens are great. They were an afterthought when I added the 750. Kinda got talked into them. But it sure makes things easier - absolutely everything in one place. The SV leaves a little to be desired tho.

Another good one too...curious though, looks really bumpy on the grass surface, were you worried about prop strikes?

This was the next landing after the ILS in CYEG

It was pretty bumpy. I have lots of prop clearance. More worried about pushing the gear thru the wings....

I have seen bumpier.. I once landed at Central Butte, SK. My wife got out of the back and asked me if I missed the runway...
