Been thinking about trapping minnows and flying them out with a Cub.
It has been around since I first started flying so there must be money in it.
The most interesting part of it is you don't need to go through the sodomizing process with TC for an operating certificate.
What do you girls. boys, transgendered and just not sure people think?
Minnow pilot.

I think it sounds like a blast. Even if there's no money in it, maybe it will pay the overhead of your airplane so you can fly for fun on just gas money.
For sure it is a good way for a pilot trying to build time to go.
Instead of spending money you would make money.

Is a Cub the right plane to be flying between Ontario and Nanaimo to trap Minnows? That's a lot of stops for fuel and ice.

I know there is money in it. When I first started flying Barney had a minnow plane at Ball Lake. PA11 -- he paid the pilot $300/month to fly it (remember late 60's) + room and board. He charged his guest $10/day (128 guests) -- do the math :D
