We used to do this on crotch rockets ...

A while back I had a student (actually
another instructor) show up with his
bumper hanging off, and after we flew,
I got out the drill and zip ties and started
drilling holes in his car.  I think he was
a little shocked at first, but he really liked
the final product.

I never go anywhere without a roll of
lock wire and a pack of zip ties.
