I was just checking out the [i]other[/i] forum and Jeebus, they should call it Ad-Canada.  About ninety percent of all space on any thread is now given to advertising.  It's worse than flipping through a Cosmo... or so I'm told.

So Scud, can we not have that happen here?

I would love this site to generate as much revenue as Avcanada, but I 'm like you I just want a site with no bullshit.

If ads are getting in the way Ill just say screw it and go with a few less cases of beer every year. I'm doing just fine without the ad revenue it brings in, if this site just pays for the hosting and domain every year I will be happy.

Awhile back before I started this site I asked Joe how much to purchase Avcanada, he came back with 1.2 million USD. SO you do the math for how much hes banking off ads previously and now how much.......

So you have my word that I won't make this site look like Adcanada, although they went with a colour scheme closer to Scudrunners................or so im told.

It's back to normal over there. It was a temporary measure to make things work during some changes. Panic and mild amusement ensued.
