Point of order

Ladies and Gentleman, As sporting as it may be to slag people on other forums and this one, I am going to ask you to take it easy. We all have had our say/vented about censorship on other sites and bad mods ruining our fun, so I am asking you all to make an effort to post more about aviation and less about how much those sites or people on them suck.
I ask this because I don't want this site just to be known for its anti Avcanada or PPRUNE posters, I want this site to become the go to aviation resource for all pilots. I believe that with great content we can continue to attract new members who may be put off by the bashing.
For the record I am not saying anyone has been out of line or thought I should delete some posts or send warning etc. I just think its time to move on and it will be a just reward when we surpass them in members and watch their daily hits decrease and ours grow.
Sort of on topic there was a thread about the contest, where I explained that a lucky new member (Arctic Navigator) would be chosen to receive 10% of this sites earning. This was an effort to gain exposure and get people to sign up and it worked. I want this site to do well so I can put the money back into the site to improve it, and if we are fortunate enough we could use that money to improve aviation. I would love to start a flying club and use funds generated by this site to purchase an airplane to bring affordability back to aviation. Another suggestion was to donate to the air cadet program or start a scholarship of some sort. Anyway that is all in the future and this is very early in the game but we need to become successful in order to make that happen and to make a go of it we need to attract more members.
So moving forward lets all make an effort to encourage debate and talk aviation so we can make that goal a reality.
