I read an article (not linking it because it’s stupid) of wondering why the RCAF hornets couldn’t responded in a timely manner, instead it was US F-15 responding.

Well, 8.6 million of you know why.

There was a claim CF-188s would have needed to come from Cold Lake. I have no idea why there were none in Comox.
