Final report RCMP PC12 crash YXY

This is a disappointing read. When this accident happened, everyone assumed it was a catastrophic engine failure, or an icing issue. Instead it was a lack of systems knowledge and a failure to fly the plane, by a very experienced northern pilot. A little bit shocking, and humbling, as I can relate to operating in that environment, and I hope that my own decision making would result in a better outcome. Also, a testament to the strength of the Pilatus airframe, that this wasn't a fatality.
