I'm here, but not all there :D. I'm in Chicago right now, having flown my Cherokee down from CYXS. I'm off to Indianapolis tomorrow for the Red Bull Air Race.

It's all my fault, I posted a picture of Kellie Leitch. The thought of her being Prime Minister is enough to scare anyone off.

Not at all - I printed off her picture and put it on my toilet tank next to Margaret Thatcher. Together, they're great solution to morning wood, and helps my aim in the am...

In not sure, the 2017 schedule should be up within the next month or two.

It certainly wasn't very nice today. If the terminal forecasts are to be believed then I should be able to get over to Indianapolis sometime in the afternoon. That big storm that rolled through the Dakotas and Saskatchewan screwed up my plans a bit, but I made up the time I lost by riding the tailwind on the back side of it (sustained groundspeed of 155 knots with occasional runs to 165, not bad for an old Cherokee!). I lost that time again because my encoder started throwing the wrong altitude so I had to get that fixed in Rockford before flying into the Chicago mode C veil. That was a wasted and expensive day. Fall is definitely here. I don't think I'd be inclined to fly a little airplane VFR most of the way across the continent any later in the year than this.
