Everyone talks about doing a "full stall" landing. No. They have never done one. Just because your stall warning horn goes off, does not mean that you have exceeded CLmax.

Here's another full stall landing for ya - note the tremendous strength of the Stearman gear and fuselage - brought to you by a four bar that didn't know about right rudder, and decided to yaw left into the trees.
Four bar had his wife on board, presumably to impress her with his flying skill?

I dunno, Air Canada used to think it was okay to stall the A319 on landing, in Jamaica.
I was pointing out their skid marks to a crew a few weeks ago…

I remember that "hard landing". They tried to land without an ILS. Didn't they have to change the landing gear?
