Ouch.
I can only imagine the smell.
Had to fly 20 minutes in a puke soaked C150 once. Longest flight of my life.

I had this conversation with a student once.
"Why were you overdue on your cross country flight?"
"I got lost"
"How did you get lost?"
"I lost my map"
"How did you lose your map?"
"I threw it out the window."
"Why did you throw your map out the window?"
"Because I threw up on it."
"Fair enough, good job finding your way home without a map."

Back in the day when hard hats and helmets were separate items, I watched a class mate (initially prone to air sickness) taxi in wearing only his mesh helmet. When he got out carrying his hard hat in his hands, the reason was obvious.
Another time, he got out of his aircraft and walked to the hangar carrying a leather flying glove that looked like one of Mickey Mouse's hands. Again, the reason was obvious.
He went on the conquer the problem and get his wings...

Life is about choices. Say if you had chosen to take 200lbs more fuel and
the right seat was empty, the 200lbs of extra fuel probably wouldn't have
vomitted and killed the avionics.
