If it looks to good to be true…

I’m tempted to buy something just to get it out of my system.

How beat are some of those poor planes? Cessna 310 R $58.09 US.

I take the AN-24 $ US 656 as a favorite toy.
With the spare change I ll get the two clapped out CRJ 100
and start an ULCC

I doubt any of this airplanes are salvageable if they weren't properly prepared for
long time inactivity, corrosion the main problem.
They may not be even worth for scrap
On the other hand it would be interesting to check them out

Dave: If there's one thing I've learned from Richard Rawlings is that the smart money buys a package.

So, you should contact them and offer to buy the entire list for 500. Register them all to you as C-reg,
take a trip over there to paint the new letters on them with a stencil, then go home and ignore them.

Paper your entire house with the C of R's. Cheap wallpaper. And unlike everything else these days, real.

That won't work anymore. TC doesn't issue C of Rs on paper anymore, they send you a PDF you have to print out yourself on 'high quality paper'

Personally I always thought there should be a Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Airplanes.

I spent a quarter century trying to save taildraggers, one pilot at a time. Peter says I saved a few.

"Friends don't let friends groundloop defenseless taildraggers"

"There are no fire-breathing dragons. Just pilots with terminal cranial-rectal inversions"

Free advice: try really hard to have the problem that you are practicing your mistakes, over and over again, all day long, day after day.
From plateaus of learning, knowledge and skill are built.
Have faith that someone will come along and tell you what you are doing wrong - even if it hurts your feelings.

Everyone says they want to live a long time, but I dunno. Your reward for your success is to see all your friends
die, and all the airplanes you flew turned into rubble. Success sounds pretty grim, doesn't it?

PS Greaser landings don't matter for shit. All that matters is that you keep it straight, on the runway. All else is bullshit.
