I was flying a very early Cub once and was passed in the climb by a hawk who was also outclimbing me. I also remember a trip in that Cub with a bug standing on the outside of the skylight... for sixty miles.

I'm told this is a serious problem for the Cessna 500 Citations as well.

That was an act of aggression. Good thing the wing was not fabric, those talons would have tore a hole in it.
