That would be a nice thing to put in Chuck's tool kit.

Anyone who parts with their money to pay for
Porkchop's flying should get this sticker instead:

And here I thought you needed a CPL to get
paid for your flying. I don't see any difference
between what he does, and guys that take pictures
of houses from airplanes and try to sell the
photos afterwards to the house owners.
Hell, I bet if you ask Enforcement, they'd want
a 702 AOC.
Enforcement told me I couldn't drop jumpers
(my friends and family) for free without a
702 AOC.
I suppose you could always claim they fell
out accidentally:
he may be treading into 702 territory
... and this is what really pisses me off about TC.
Incredibly selective enforcement of the regs. No
level playing field, not in Canada at least.
A friend of mine had his signature forged in some
PTRs. TC elected not to prosecute the false
documentation because Seneca College was
deemed to be "part of the government".
WTF? If I ever forged a PTR or logbook entry,
you can bet my ass would be in a permanent
sling. I can't even take the side door off the
Maule (as described in the POH) and have my
kid jump out. No, I need a 702 AOC for that,
says TC.
There are different rules for different people.
Reminds me, a few years back, got a phone
call out of the blue from a TC Enforcement
Inspector in Atlantic Region. She said that
if I ever went there, she'd figure out something
to charge me with. I'd never even met the
crazy woman. Her name was Peggy something.
Anyways, I will never, ever go to Atlantic
Region.
Must be nice for you guys, to be able to
travel freely in Canada.
