We need more members.

This site is great for communicating without being ripped apart for your opinions, in spite of no moderation.

So how do we grow this site?

Well one of the draws for many is the job posting section -- and lets face it some are just shit scared of being called out for stupidity -- haha -- another thing there are very many out there who are only interested in commercial aviation and chasing the heavy metal - that group is not here yet and while some could care less about this group they do make up the majority of subscribers over there -- I guess the choice is our whether that's a group wanted here --
I think for the most part we are the aviation misfits....
Well I guess if this group are misfits in aviation that sets us apart from the other group.

For misfits we sure have a lot of aviators.  :)

Word of mouth is a fine thing... A seaplane pilot told me about the site, but I'm not sure of his nick (you know who you are  ;) ).

Everyone is welcome here misfit or not, now that the darker season is upon us I think more time will be spent online. Keep spreading the word and I will get some more SEO interweb type stuff happening to grow our numbers.

Remember folks sites like AvCanada have been around for 15 years and PPRUNE.org was a email list then a BBS in 1993 (if you remember those) so needless to say they have a bit of a head start. And in the case of PPRUNE is now owned by Internet Brands which is a big company that has a lot of resources behind it.
