The guys landing the Herc on the carrier had no previous experience flying a four-engine airplane.
Even more incredibly, all of these carrier landings were performed without the benefit of the
participation of Transport Canada-approved Flight Training Unit. That's what really confuses me.

In Iraq my last hitch, the tower gave a traffic call, "Follow the black smoke trail, it'll lead to an Antonov."

I still remember a Ukrainian Mig and the AN-224 doing that at the last Namao air show, then the Mig later at Red Deer. Maybe pre 1992?
