This site has attracted a great group of pilots and contrary to what a lot of posters on other forums said it is far more civil than the moderated sites.
So how can we attract more members???

I'm betting that people with knowledge to share will not need moderation.
Trolls and the ignorant do require moderation.

Your observation is noted Superstar, I have read all your posts here and hope you stick around and learn a few things from some of these posters you seem to hold in contempt.
As to my posts about old aircraft and their irrelevance to today's aircraft maybe we should examine their differences a bit more closely.
Lets start with the DC6 and compare it to either a Boeing or Airbus.
My experience with these aircraft is the DC6 was far more demanding and more complex to fly than either the Boeing or the Airbus
You go first and give your thoughts on these different aircraft that do have a common link...they are transport category airliners that were and are the best in aviation.
Also I noted you asked about FMS, what do you think about the FMS, did you find it time consuming like I do?
There you go Superstar jump in and help make this site better seeing as you already post here.

Superstar:
I note you are a flight instructor and assume you will eventually want to move into other kinds of flying.
Here is a suggestion that will give you some insite into how this business works.
Two of the regular posters here not only hire pilots they can and do recommend pilots to companies looking for crews.
They are The Colonel and Du Capo whom I personally know.
Get in touch with them and let them know who you are here and see if they would hire you.
Based on what I read from you here I sure would not.

Um, was that supposed to be encouraging? Looked kind of like the text version of a cold water hose.
To answer the OP, more videos of white drummers with excellent Afros that can sing.

Say, Chuck, I kinda got the impression, from here, Pprune, and 'the other place' that you were a Catalina specialist? Who did you fly Boeing/Airbus for?

Part of my career was flying the Catalina including fifteen years PIC fire bombing and it paid very well which is the only reason I did it.
Why do you need to know who I flew the Boeing and Airbus for, thousands of pilots fly them or rather operate them.
