Looks like another 2 hour recruiting film for the US Navy!

Am I the only one that hated the first Top Gun? The flying sequences are spectacular but the story is just ridiculous.

The footage should be better because they can fit a much better digital camera inside the planes now.

I'm not a huge Tom fan but I liked the first one. Val Kilmer is always fun. "I'm your huckleberry."

I choose to enjoy it for exactly those reasons.  I don’t expect this to be an Oscar contender.
