Eff These Guys

Following is an incomplete (but growing) list of the pilots who can get effed. Luckily I no longer have to deal with any of them, except for possible future reference calls though I try and stay polite on those. Perhaps some will see some of these as my fault but it still takes two to tango. I may call them all guys but some of these guys were gals. There’s an educational purpose to this, any new-ish commercial pilot’s who see this just try not to be these people and if anyone knows someone else who can get effed feel free to add to the list. Now without further ado:
The guy who refused a charter to an uncontrolled airport he’d never been to before because it had more than one apron and he didn’t know which one his pax would be at: eff that guy.
The guy who called me because he’d been caught substantially lying about his past experience and needed me to corroborate his lie: eff that guy.
The guy who went on leave for a ‘family death’ only to get caught in training at a regional three weeks later: eff that guy.
The many guys who move on to another job then just no-show on their last day: eff all of those guys.

The sad part, is that you need more of them!

Hmm. I'll play, this might be worse with ground equipment like trucks but... eff those guys that don't look after things because the company bought it. Maybe they don't look after their own tools either but I don't use their personal tools after they quietly put it away broken.

...then when it breaks they won’t tell anyone important for weeks while bitching to everyone else that the company has shit equipment. Eff those guys.

A special mention to the retired Captain from a well known flag carrier who stole the allowance money that I had gone to a great deal of trouble to organise for my crew.
He hadn't organised anything for his crew and as a result there were no allowances for them. On his return he caused such a scene at operations that they gave him the allowance money for my crew just to get rid of him. This left my crew and myself without allowances.
When I confronted him about it he wouldn't take any responsibility for his actions and proceeded to blame the company.
Eff you! The World doesn't revolve around you - you selfish prick! I hope you're enjoying your retirement - I certainly am!
And to the Captain that used to call in sick all the time if he was flying too much - Eff you too!
Crew scheduling had to always have another Captain on standby to cover for him in case he decided not to show up. He always showed up for the layovers in Oman so he would get those every 6 weeks or so. I did these layovers twice in a year - spent my time doing night turns to Egypt. 16 hour duty days while he was sunbathing by the pool.
Thanks to both of you for teaching me how not to do things - I've taken that to heart!
And Eff the company that allowed this to happen!

Eff the guys who think they are owed a different lot in life just because they have existed in a particular place for what they think is long enough.

Who me? My last flight to New York was in August last year.
Been flying Middle East to Australia and back for the last 4 years.
